Top Ten Totally Terrible

http://www.thestreet.com/story/12927306/6/the-10-worst-cars-of-all-time.html

I have to say that I agree with all of these being in the list.

Chrysler PT Cruiser in 9th worst
Pontiac Aztek in 2nd worst
(I might've put swapped those two.)

They make a good point about the Number 1 worst. Their argument is that the worst car ever is one that is totally devoid of a character or personality. There is no sort of performance to speak of to compensate for lack of styling. It even has no face.

If I had a friend that was an amazing basketball player, but he was hideous, had body odor, and no personality, I would still call him when I wanted to get a good basketball game together. He serves me in some way as a friend due to his performance.

If I had an extremely attractive female friend, I would spend time with her, even if she had little to no redeeming qualities otherwise. She serves the purpose of making me look better because she is attractive.

You see my point. Cars that have no personality in the way of styling, and have nothing in the way of performance serve absolutely no purpose whatsoever.

This is a problem that plagues many many cars in the modern American automotive market. So, car buyers, stop treating cars like utilitarian machines. They are more than that. They are companions.

Choose your companions wisely.
